Residential Therapeutic Parent(s) Employment Summary

 

FCSA is frequently seeking Residential Therapeutic Parent(s) for the therapeutic family homes. This position requires the employee to reside in and manage the daily operation of FCSA’s Therapeutic Family Home and to provide for the overall care and supervision of up to five children. Salary: This is an exempt position and the salary base is $ 45,000.00 per year for the full time primary care parent.

 

Room, Board & Transportation:  Provided at no additional cost by FCSA includes rent, utilities, and food, FCSA to determine monthly food budget and provides transportation. FCSA will provide oversight and input for the daily menus as necessary to ensure compliance with licensing and/or other applicable state standards.

 

Family Members Required Time Commitments:   One family member available 24 hours per day seven days per week.

 

Services Delivered Include:  Acting as positive adult role model, and taking on the responsibilities of the primary parents for all children placed at the home, inclusive of school meetings, scheduling routine medical services, and providing opportunities for involvement in cultural, religious and other extra curricular activities.

 

Support Staff:  To assist parents in the home. To be determined by FCSA.

 

Paperwork:   Maintain all paperwork as determined by FCSA.

 

Treatment Model To Be Used:  To be determined by FCSA as delineated by FCSA policies and procedures.

 

Paid Vacation: As per FCSA Policy and Procedure, full-time employees accrue 6.15 hours of leave per pay period (every two weeks) for the first two years of employment.

 

Respite Hours Per Week:  Day and times to be determined. Average respite is 12-16 hours per week.

 

Required Training:  Family to attend trainings as determined necessary by FCSA.

 

Facility Management:  Minor repairs to be performed by family with the cost to be provided  by FCSA. Major repairs to be scheduled in conjunction with family and performed by or through FCSA.
